The Sims 2 Freetime
I'm sure you've all heard of The Sims 2 Freetime. The latest announced expansion pack known as the hobbies ep. This new ep brings 10 new hobbies for you sims to partake in. Whether they like to be alone or with family and friends, there's something for everyone in this new ep due to hit the shelves February 28th. But why should you get it? For your sims of course! Everybody can use a hobby.
Do you find your sims hoping a household object will break just so they can fix it? Perhaps they would be interested in pursuing the tinkering hobby. One of the coolest new things coming with Freetime is the opportunity to turn a heap of junk into a beautiful car. And tinkerers alike will have a ball! Just pick out a paint color and then its all up to you, are you gonna keep it for joyrides or sell it for the big § cash?
Your sims aren't into tinkering? You say. Their more of the athletic type? No worries, Freetime has it covered. Whether your sims like kicking a ball across the lawn, dribbling one down the court, or throwing the old pigskin out back with a friend, they are sure to be out side all day! And you can deck out their homes with the latest sporting goods as well!
But what about those poker playing, family game night sims? They won't be left in the dust once they get their hands on Don't Wake the Llama, Spore, FIFA '08, Mysims, and Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars. Your sims are sure to be to all hours of the night with these new games.
Wait, some of us have sims that are into Arts and Crafts.... Oh thats right! There's stuff for those sims too! Sims like these are sure to enjoy pottery, sewing, and painting! And the best part is, you're sims could have their own little business! Or, they could just spend an hour or two with their sewing machine creating clothes and teddy bears for the children. Either way, they'll be having the time of their life.
Oh, I know, they probably don't have stuff for the science lovers.....wait...yes they do. Are these people good or what? There's plenty of scientific objects to delight your sims with! Whether your sims are into gazing up at the stars, or oceanography, there's something for them. Not to mention the cool new space posters your sims can hang in their rooms!
Well you could've guessed it, theres nature activities as well! You're sims can enjoy birdwatching, going on site-seeing hikes, they can even study bugs! Love is always in the air! Love of nature that is.
Did you hear Don Lothario playing violin at last nights concert? Mortimer was dancing ballet in the background! That's right, music and dance is a must, even for sims. Whether they are into playing an instrument or dancing to the beat of one! There will never be a day when music dies with this great new hobby!
If your sims hit the gym often, they'll love the new fitness activities available to them! New work-out items are on the way! Excer-cycles and weights, your sims will be buffer then Chuck Norris!
And for all those bakers, why they'll be pleased to know that the judges are coming! They can prepare a new dish and have it judged, I hope my sim wins first place!
Oh no! You're sims hobby is yet to be mentioned? What is their hobby? Film and Literature? No way! That just happens to be the 10th Hobby! Yes I'm serious! You're sims will finally be able to practice their hand at film and literature.
That's not even the half of it. Once you sim gets so into their hobby, they will be "in the zone" and their needs will decay slower! With 5 new careers, the only tough thing on your sims will be deciding what field to enter in! And did we mention the Genie? He's great! Except when your wish doesn't go as planned....
So what do your sims do after getting home from work and on weekends, watch tv? They could use a hobby.
